Sun Moon Lake - what a beauty!

Our day with Sun Moon Lake passed by. It has been very amazing. We've seen a lot. We've climbed to Cih-en Pagoda, take a boat from Syuanguang through Shuishe Pier to Ita Thao Pier, we've visited Venwu Temple, than hiked its hiking trail with 366 stairs, where has been signed every single day in leap year and we've finished our journey with visiting the most expensive hotel there.

Our day has begun with breakfast in hotel. We'd there sweet or salty meals, so it has been on our choice, how did we want to start our day. I've chosen the sweet one. Later we took the round bus, which makes a circle around the Lake, to the first place: Syuanzang. It has been only the third stop from our apartment. First, we've been to some viewing point and enjoy the view. Later we entered the Syuangzang Temple. It has been nice like other temples - I liked the turtle with some wisdom word on its back.

After observing Temple, we've started to climb to the Cih-en Pagoda. Pagoda stands on the top of Shabalan (Erlong) Mountain. It's the highest place to view the scenery of Sun Moon Lake. It has been built in 1971 by Chiang Kai-shek in memory of his mother.
The trail has been 570 meters long, straight to the hill. It has been long walk, but it has worth :-) After the last stairs, we've seen an amazing building - I've felt myself like yes, I've done it. I'm here! We've decided to climb it. It has been a lot of stairs again, but on the top, there has been an a bell and you can ring for yourself :-) When you became satisfied with the ringing sound, you enter the observation place and just say woow. The view is so amazing, breathtaking and you feel yourself like in fairytale. Pictures cannot explain this feeling, but show the view and catch the moment. It has been really great..

After enjoying Pagoda, we've climbed down from the whole hill and then more down to take a boat. This trail has been also interesting. We've been walking in the middle of forest and observing lizards, which have been running in front of us. After some time, we've come to the Xuang Temple Pier. We've planned for ourselves to make a boat trip. We're right on time. Our boat gas been leaving in a few minutes. We've taken a boat to the Shuishe Pier and making some pictures of the lake from the boat and enjoying the green-blue water in the lake. From this place, we've continued to the Ita Thao Pier. On this place, we've divided in two groups. First group went to the Sun Moin Lake Cable Car and the rest went to Wenwu Temple. I've decided to visit the Temple, because it has been cloudy and I enjoy cable cars during the winter quite lot:-)

Wenwu Temple is majestic huge building, that has been built in Chinese Northern Dynasty palace style. From outside it looks very beautiful. It has been raining quite lot, but it hasn't ruined my admire about this Temple.
Wenwu Temple

We've been there :-)

The interior contains of the front, middle and rear halls, which are devoted to Lord Wenchang, Saint Guan and Confucius retrospectively. Every single part of it has been amazing. All over the temple have been some wishes in many different ways. Some were gold pieces on rope, some were on the paper, some were in cover by a coin, that you throw in the water and some were in people minds. I've decided to make a coin wish and paper wish for me and my friends. I hope all wishes will come true. I wished for my friends only love in their life :-) Do not worry, something bad is going on:-D
This Temple has many floors
On each floor is different dragon
You can buy this golden thing and wish something
Another way how to wish sometihng (different color, different wish)
Last way, how to wish - throw a coin to the water - we've done it!
On the top of this building we were walking a little around the gardens and we've been on one view place close to the roof of one part of the temple. The view has been amazing. There have been beautiful scenes of mountains and lake. I really fall in love with this place. Maybe I'll make up somewhere there my wedding one day:-D

Oh, and I've seen there my cat in the Temple - Zinečka. Chssss :-D See the pictures.
Čičí...

Chssss :-D

Close to the Temple is Wenwu Temple Hiking Trail, that has 366 stairs and each one symbolize one day. We've been all curious about our stair :-) Every stair has carved a date and names of famous people, who were born on the corresponding date :-) It's quite special, but unfortunately I cannot read Chinese, so I do not know mine :-)) After going from 31st od December to 1st of January we've been to Sun Moon Lake. One guy (Bogdan) has actually jumped into the lake and swim a little! Quite curious thing about this Lake is, that there is no possibility to swim. It's not allowed. Only during September there is an occasion, where people can cross this Lake.

Wishes were everywhere

I've done it! 366 stairs.

My Date of Birth
Our last stop has been The Wen Wan hotel. It's the most expensive hotel there. One night cost at minimum NT 20,000 and the Presidental Suite (the most luxury room) cost NT 320,000! Yes, you read right! Soooo much! We've decided to see this hotel closer and pretend we're interested in. One guy has opened a door for us, second one has helped me sit on the chair and then one lady has showed us some promotional materials. And yes, the price is exactly the same, I've written few lines above. Well, we have thanked her for her time, made some pictures in the front and disappeared. It was funny secret mission:-) Maybe on after my wedding I'll spend a wedding night there - hahaha :-D
There is the price, I was not joking!

Maybe one day :-)
The view from our hotel

After our quite a long day, we're heading to the Taitung. We've taken one bus, two trains and our foots. Because we're waiting for our bus and then we've missed our first train (we're waiting about 1,5 hour in some abandoned station) it took us about six hours.. But we're here with enthusiasm to see everything tomorrow! And from our hotel in Tainan, where we stay in 14th floor is an amazing view! You can see the streets around the Train station.

And I've seen today some interesting fruit. Red banana and Durian. Check the pictures. I haven't bought it, but I'll try to find it in Taipei and try it later :-) Aaand I've found my new favourite drink - Papaja milk :-) Veery good!
