Today was Czech and Indonesian day in San-Ying Arts Village. We've been backing a cooking.
In the morning I woke up on 5 AM, because I've been sweating very much. But on the other hand I've seen a
sun rise from our window. After a turning on the air condition I fall a sleep immediately :-D

Our day has started in San-Ying Arts Village with making
Apple Strudel from secret recipe of my grandmother :-) It has been pretty good fun, because I have had only a wooden stick to make a cake from dough. But I've done it. My grand mother would be so proud of me :-) It hasn't been the nicest Apple Strudel, but it has been delicious!
In The afternoon we've made our traditional dishes. From
Czech kitchen I've made the Garlic soup, than Potato pancakes with chicken and vegetable sauce and than I served the Apple Strudel as a desert.

|
Mixed all together and fried! |
From
Indonesian kitchen it has been a Spicy rice with Egg Omelet and a Green Balls as a desert.

First we've expected about 8 people, but suddenly there were
18 enthusiastic people :-D But all of them were very happy to try our food and they have helped us also - especially with cleaning. The potato pancakes have had from my opinion the biggest success.

All people were also surprised, that we have
an eating order which food to eat first and the last. At first we serve soup, than the main dish and at the end the dessert. In Taiwanese kitchen you can eat all together at the same time.
Taiwanese people also usually don't have and oven at home. The don't bake. So when I've showed them the Apple Strudel on the sheet of tin, they were very surprised.
I think, that this day has been very good (in Taiwanese: Hau Tsu!) :-)
