Yingge Old Street and No.3 Park

Old Street was our goal for today. We've chosen a good day, because a lot of markets has been opened and there were also some street stands with food. MY impression of this street is very good. It's new reconstructed and it has a historical spirit.

There are a lot of pottery shops. Some of them were fancy with pottery for decoration and some of them sell pottery for daily use. You can also experienced some traditional art on the Old Street. The most famous place is The Shu's Pottery. There are some lessons with the guide and a lot of people come here to make their own master piece.

From the food the most interesting part was Mochi. It's made of glutenous rice flour and than you put it in the powder of peanuts with crystal sugar. It's very cheap (one box costs about 50NTD) and it tastes very good.

We've also seen for the first time horse police and we've been to No.3 Park. There were a lot of children playing on the playground and also as an adult, you can go to some "Jungle gym" too. Very close to this park is a good place to eat - Sushi restaurant (very fancy one) and a place, where you can have a great ice-cream. I've already written about this places here.
