Green Island is full of
surprises. Morning with sunrise in hot spring and then excursion in prison. Afternoon
in Taitung with flying balloons and delicious food. That's my day in two
sentences.
Today we woke up on 4am to see a sun
rise from hot springs. On 5AM we'd already been in hot spring with
enthusiasm to see the sunrise. Before the sun showed up, it'd become almost a
day. It has been very windy this morning, but when the sun showed up,
everything went on the other site. It had been taking only a few minutes to get
on the sky. This moment has been amazing. I think I've never seen the sunrise
in my life. When the sun had showed up its beauty, we went closer to sea to
enjoy the view and feel the smell of the sea.

We've seen some prisons' rooms,
pictures of life in prison or the
photography of people, who spent there some part of their life and at the end
they became heroes. Very close to
this place is also real prison right now, but the justice is different than
during the war.

On our way to prison was great to observe
the nature and sea. The roads are on this island only around the coast,
because in the centre are mountains.

After a while, we have had a delicious
lunch in one restaurant, where you can enjoy the view to the sea during the
lunch. Shrimps, deer, vegetable and rice – mňam! And as a desert, we’ve crossed
the road and take amazing mango
ice-cream. It looked like something unbelievable and taste sooo great!

In the afternoon, we'd taken a boat home again. A lot of people were
scared from the sea sickness, because the wind had been still very strong. We'd
been at the beginning of the line, so we'd strategic place to sit - at the
back. I'd put a headphones and tried to sleep. The sea was more calm than
yesterday, so I'd really fallen asleep and the journey had been much better. As a celebration of successful arriving to Taitung, we've had a
delicious ice-cream. I'd ordered coconut and papaya. Mmmm. Sweet afternoon
could start.

We'd gone to the hot-air ballon performance. We'd arrived on time. The first
balloon had just fly to the sky. After a while there were about 10 hot-air
balloons. A major of the city has started to count from 10 to 1 and the blowing
the hot-air balloons had started. In a few minutes a hot air balloons were taking
up to the sky and then down again to exchange the passengers.We'd made some
pictures of jump and some crazy one. Later we ate a sweet donut, we'd bought
before and we enjoyed the day.

After seeing balloons we went to had a beef noodles in a secret
restaurant of Sean and Karren, than we went to aboriginal night market, had a
dragon fruit and finished with coffee.

Another day full of new experience passed again. New memories had raised
up - xié xie for everything and taking such a good care of me today Joy, Sean
and Karen! You know, what I mean :-)
