Guesting around Yingge and cooking for family

Today we’ve guided our first guest around Yingge Ceramics Museum and make an international dinner from three countries in our host-family.

Our first guest is Joy. She has arrived very excited about Yingge. We’ve decided to take her to the Yingge Ceramics Museum. The Museum was amazing, event thou, I’ve been there before, I’ve found many new interesting things about pottery and I’ve seen a lot of new art. The most interesting things were for me in the third floor. I’ve seen a lot of original pottery pieces. Some of them has also won some competitions.

In the late afternoon, we’ve been shopping ingredients for our international dinner and the cooking party has begun! We’ve prepared our dishes around two and half hours. It has been pretty fun, because I’ve got a chance to observe Indonesian preparation or typical Taiwanese Coke Chicken.
From Czech Republic I’ve done again garlic soup with cheese and bread and potato pancakes with meat sauce (both of this food were a little bit different than yesterday, but still delicious) and as a dessert I’ve used the Apple Strudel. Indonesia has been yesterday with yellow rice, egg omelette and green balls. And Taiwan has presented Coke Chicken and Bubble milk tea. I like all of these foods. I’ve eaten a lot of everything.
Amazing international dinner with our family and Joy
Table full of delicious food :-)
Kaoliang

Our eveinig has finished with Karaoke. I’ve tried to sing – hahaha. We’re singing with Joy, Geena, Pete and Chris (two sons of our host-family). Nobody was shy to sing and we’ve laugh a lot. We’ve also tried Kaoliang – typical Taiwanese alcohol drink. Brrr.. It tastes a little bit like vodka, but ok. It's made from Sorghum. You can read more about this plant here.

Sorghum
This whole day has been pretty fun!
