What a wonderfull day..

This day has started with very beautiful exhibition, continued with very tasty herbal hot pot with feeding animals and observing nature and finished with...

In the morning we had a small breakfast (peanut butter with toast and black tea) not to waist time and go to see Taitung closely. Our first stop has been The exhibition of Ting Shao Kuang with an amazing pictures. His motto for this exhibition was:

"What I try to convey in my work is an art that transcends national bordees like Beethowen's symphonies." 

I like it a lot. I can imagine to have similar picture in the entrance hall of my future house :-) There was forbidden to make a pictures, so I do not have any, but I've found some on the internet. I like especially one, where a  man meet a woman with the children on the Chinese Valentine Day on the rainbow. And there was one beautiful Balinese Woman (Bali Princess), so I had remembered Geena :-)

Our next stop was Yuan Sen applied botanical garden.  We've had a lunch here. It's very famous place due to herbal hot pot. You can eat how much do you want during one hour. There is recommendation, which food is the best starter, how to continue and what could be your dessert. I like it a lot! You can choose as a main dish a lot of kinds of herbal leaves, pieces of pumpkin, bitter melon, tofu or meat. I can imagine to have this lunch more often. It was very good.

When we've finished the main dish, we'd taken our dessert outside and watched ostriches. After that, it was time to feed the fishes. We've bought some fish food and fishes could get crazy to eat it:-) Later we've feed also a goats and cows. So all animals were happy. After feeding time we've seen some plants, which growing here normally and went to the souvenir shop with natural cosmetics, food and other souvenirs. It was a little bit more expensive, but we've bought some presents.

We've continued to another place called The Maple Leaf Baseball Team Memorial Hall. It's a small elementary, which has stood on the beginning of the baseball sport in Taiwan. This club won many prices, the most important was the World competition in 1968. The award were everywhere and the wies from this place has been also very beautiful. I was amused.

On our way to train station back home we've stopped by the Taitung Country Police Bureau Guan Shan Precinct. There is a museum of all police stuff, which were used earlier to catch bad guys and girls :)

Everyone loves ice-cream

As a sweet end of our journey we've eated great ice-cream. I've tried brown sugar ice cream with sweet beans - so great, so sweet. I've eaten it all, even it was very big. Very tasty way to end our three days journey.

Train to Taipei was coming, so we've picked up some dumplings like a dinner and went home. So sad that the journey ends. But something good ends and another good comes. Thank you again Sean, Karen and Joy for a great trip and taking a special care about me. I'm really grateful to meet you and join you on your vacation.
